The White House has a bran new site, which includes a blog, an agenda, and the upcoming weekly video address.
Better yet according to Macon Phillips, new media director for the white house, “All executive orders and proclamations would be published on the website, as well as all non-emergency legislation, giving the public five days to comment before they are signed by the new president.”
Pretty amazing.
The charity auction is in full swing. Go bid on a photo session or a website from me, or check out the all the critiques and books being offered. I’m tempted to bid on a critique myself.
Sabrina has a new, well written, and highly content driven site up and running. One of the most interesting and articulate bloggers I know.
Sean Watkins of Nickel Creek and Jon Foreman of Switchfoot have formed a new cd: Fiction Family. Very promising, and it’s on Emusic. More thoughts on this when I’ve had a chance to listen to it.
While checking my feed for Miss Snark’s First Victim, I came across the story of Katy and Elizabeth. A single mom and daughter, trying to make ends meet. This has become near impossible since they were evicted from their home. Currently they’re living in a series of motel rooms, or in the car. Gemma Halliday, the romance writer, has put together a charity auction to help raise money.
The auction will run on January 19-26th at Romantic Inks and includes several awesome items and services. I’m pitching in a photo session and a website. If you have something to offer to help out, that’d be amazing. But at the very least, tune in next Monday to browse and bid!
