Finally, the January Muse photos are done! Got some good stuff and had fun.
(On a side note, Joe McNally’s latest entry cracked me up. All you men considering gifts for your valentine, take heed.)

My photos were used in an ad for Denim Couture. Very fun – especially since I really like their clothing. See the ad after the jump.
In other news, I’m in the middle of two websites. Both are coming along rather well. The Muse photos are looking good too, I’m through about a third of them. Many of the other photographers has posted galleries of just a few images. While part of me likes the idea (gives a teaser for the full gallery), I like offering the same number of images for each look. It’s more fair that way. And I’m never sure of the base number of images until I’ve edited them all. Ah trauma. Now go see the ad.

A hush spreads over the crowd.
They wait, quiet, holding a collective breath.
The lights come up in the glare of the blues and reds.
The D300 is on stage.
For backup is me, shooting with my iPhone as my Nikon takes center stage. The fisheye is focused and ready. The lights blaze, the shutter opens, and the show begins.

Today I discovered Shadowbox is not Vista friendly. Ah Vista, the anti-social operating system. The PC Newswire says it all.
In light of this, I redesigned the Elwood Construction site (now officially live at buildelwood.com) using flash instead of the Shadowbox slideshows.

Different look, but I like it. Also sent off a print order for fliers and business cards this evening (in between making spaghetti and meatballs).
