Last Saturday, Ann Ingalls read her new book, THE LITTLE PIANO GIRL, at The American Jazz Museum. Oh to all of you who have little kids – you need to take your kids to the museum’s Jazz Storytelling sessions (right after hitting up your local bookstore for Ann’s latest). Trust me, you won’t regret it. Man, if I’d been six or so, I’d have been jumping and singing my heart out.

Ann & her husband Winston before her reading began.

Cindi tore herself away from Farmville especially for the occasion.

The jazzy storytellers got Ann out on the floor to do some improvising.

Then Ann’s storytelling began.
